The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be the 23rd FIFA World Cup. The tournament will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026. It will be jointly hosted by 16 cities in three North American countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
Matches are taking place from Wednesday, 05 June 2024 – Tuesday, 11 June 2024.

22:56 – Tunisia 1-0 Equatorial Guinea – Full time in Tunis, where the hosts have claimed a narrow win to move to the top of Group H, two points clear of Namibia in second place. Nzalang Nacional are rock bottom with zero points.
22:50 – Tunisia 1-0 Equatorial Guinea – There will be five minutes of injury time.
22:41 – Tunisia 1-0 Equatorial Guinea – Finally the deadlock is broken, as Tunisia claim the lead in the 81st minute! Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane is credited with the goal.
22:27 – Tunisia 0-0 Equatorial Guinea – Past the midway point of the second half and it remains goalless in Tunis. The Carthage Eagles have been much more attack-minded after the break, but they have yet to really trouble the visitors’ defence.
22:08 – Back underway in Tunis, where the hosts have made another change, introducing Sayfallah Ltaief in place of Elias Saad.
21:50 – Half time – Tunisia 0-0 Equatorial Guinea.

Not much to report from Tunis, where it’s goalless at the break. Equatorial Guinea have played the better football, but not offered much of a threat, while Tunisia have been disjointed and have already been forced into a substitution in midfield, where Aissa Laidouni has made way for Nader Ghandri.
21:30 – Half an hour played in Tunis, where it remains 0-0, though Equatorial Guinea have been the more progressive team. Hosts Tunisia have struggled to find an attacking rhythm.
21:15 – Fifteen minutes played at the Hammadi Agrebi Stadium in Tunis and it remains 0-0 between Tunisia and Equatorial Guinea.

20h01 – Namibia vs Liberia: Liberia proved to be a tough nut to crack during the closing stages of the tie and held on to recorded a 1-1 draw with Namibia at the Orlando Stadium.

19h56 – Sierra Leone vs Djibouti: After seeing out the game with relative ease, Sierra Leone held on to secure a much-needed 2-1 win in Morrocco.
19:47 – Namibia vs Liberia: The Brave Warriors piled on the pressure as the game reached its concluding phases and looked to exploit the opposition defence in wide areas of the pitch.
19:42 – Sierra Leone vs Djibouti: Despite Sierra Leone’s lead, Djibouti were urgent in their in attacking moves and actively searched for their second goal. The Leone Stars however, looked to kick into game management mode with a number of defensive substitutions from the bench.
19h32: Togo v South Sudan – Goal for South Sudan as they hit back just seven minutes after going behind, with the goal coming from Roger Aholou, who puts the ball into the back of his own net.
19h27: Togo v South Sudan – Goal for Togo as Khaled Narey bags his first goal on the international stage in what is his third appearance, having only made his debut for the Sparrowhawks against Sudan on 16 November 2023.

Liberia levelled matters in the 65th minute following yet another sustained period of pressure inside the Namibia penalty area. Following a lobbed effort into the six-yard box, Lloyd Kazapua’s failed clearance fell to the feet of Terry Sackor, who guided the ball into the back of the net from close range.

The Leone Stars retook the lead in the 51st minute , as Augustus Kargbo joined Davies on the scoreboard. After controlling a difficult high ball inside the box, the attacker evaded his opposite number before finishing from a tight-angle.
19h15 – Namibia vs Liberia: Liberia looked lively after the restart and immediately took the direct route via a series of corners and line-outs on the edge of the Brave Warriors 18-yard-area. However, Collin Benjamin’s side did well to weather the storm and swiftly gained control of the tie thereafter.

18h50 – Sierra Leone v Djibouti: The game reached a tacky period shortly before the break as neither side were able to create any notable goal scoring opportunities.
18h29: Central African Republic take the lead through Venuste Baboula, who registers his first competitive goal. The 25-year-old winger had previously scored twice for his country against Bhutan in a 2024 FIFA Series friendly on 22 March 2024.

Djibouti were awarded a penalty soon after the half-hour mark, after Emmanuel Samadia deliberately handled the ball inside his own 18-year-old area. In stepping up to the spot, Gabriel Dadzie made no mistake in sending the goalkeeper in the opposite direction.
18h25 – Sierra Leone v Djibouti: After edging Djibouti to the ball possession count early on, the Leone Stars managed to make the most of their early pressure and subsequently opened the scoring in the 12th minute. With Curtis Davies getting his name on the scoresheet, the 39-year-old marked his competitive national team debut with a goal.
18h18 – Namibia v Liberia: Tjipenandjambi Kauuombe’s 8th minute strike separated the two nations at the Orlando Stadium, which prompted the Brave Warriors to assert their dominance on the tie.
18h10 – Namibia v Liberia: Namibia dominated the opening exchanges of the encounter, particularly during the first 10 minutes, as their slick passing moves often left Liberia chasing shadows in the middle of the pitch.
