Pregame
Compared to Arkansas’ past games here, the weather is wonderful for this year’s Liberty Bowl that is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m. at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. The game-time temperature will be in the 50s.
The Razorbacks are the designated home team tonight and will be wearing red helmets and jerseys, and white pants. Texas Tech is wearing white pants and black helmets and pants.
The Red Raiders’ top running back, Tahj Brooks, did not go through pregame warmups and has been ruled out for the game. Texas Tech coach Joey McGuire said yesterday he was “50-50” about whether Brooks would play.
