Legendary ski racer Lindsey Vonn will return to World Cup Ski Racing in St. Moritz, Switzerland, this weekend. After stepping away from racing in 2019 after a string of persistent injuries, Vonn underwent a partial knee replacement in April.
That surgery, it seems, has left her feeling good to go. Only a month after return to racing, Vonn has qualified for the World Cup Circuit and is feeling “stronger now than I did in my mid-to late-20’s.”
“One thing I realized is that life is really short,” Vonn said in a video on Instagram. “If you have an opportunity, you have to take it. There’s nothing that I love more than ski racing.”
