Having started playing soccer at the young age of four, Lilli’s journey led her to represent St. Aloysius in the seventh grade. It was in 2023 during her senior year that Perniciaro excelled, guiding the Lady Flashes to the playoffs and scoring an impressive 11 goals.
Reflecting on her success, Lilli shared,”I gained a lot of confidence this year and I overcame any obstacles that stood in my way.
Under the guidance of Head Coach Gio Baldizon, Lilli exhibited her athletic
prowess in various games, contributing to victories for St. AI. A standout moment was when she scored four goals against Park Place in a remarkable 6-0 win midway through
the season.
While the victory over Park Place was a
memorable highlight, Lilli treasures the win against ACCS on senior night as one of her fondest memories. “That win was incredibly special, and I will always cherish the bus rides home with my teammates,” she recalled.

In January, Perniciaro started receiving
interest from Hinds Community College, marking the beginning of her journey as a college student-athlete. Looking ahead,
she expressed, “I’m excited to continue playing, and I believe it will help me stay focused. I
aspire to pursue a career in the medical field, and the soccer program at the college seems like a perfect fit.”
Perniciaro was also a member of the varsity cheerleading team and the softball team that made it to the playoffs for the first time in 10 years. She had a .400 batting average, 14 hits and 14 RBIs.
Lilli will major in Biological Sciences and is the daughter of Charles and Vanessa Perniciaro.
