The Lenoir-Rhyne Women’s Soccer team shows that success isn’t just based on on-field performance, as they had five athletes earn CSC Academic All-District Honors.
Seniors Evan O’Leary and Anna Schuller, juniors Tea Sabin and Carola Busquets, and sophomore Rosa Gonzalez were all named to the team. This marks the second consecutive year five Bears were named to the team, with Busquets making it on in back-to-back years.
The CSC Academic All-District Award recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. A minimum 3.5 GPA along with on-field factors such as minimum amounts of starts and/or participation are components in the qualification process.
