After finishing the regular season 9-3 and missing the Big 12 championship game, most national outlets believe the Colorado Buffaloes will receive an Alamo Bowl invitation. Some analysts have linked the Buffs to the Holiday Bowl in San Diego or the Las Vegas Bowl, but those destinations appear less likely.
Colorado’s previous two postseason games — 2016 vs. the Oklahoma State Cowboys and 2020 vs. the Texas Longhorns — both came in the Alamo Bowl, hosted by the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. This year’s Alamo Bowl is scheduled for Dec. 28 on ABC.

Would Michigan stars such as Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant be prompted to play in this game? What about Will Johnson – another projected top-five pick who missed most of the season with a toe injury?
