Kickoff times released for early-season KU football games – KCTV 5

LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) – Television executives provided college football fans with an early-season glimpse into kickoff times for their favorite teams on Thursday.
Times for the Kansas Jayhawks’ first three games of the season — two of which will be played in the first of their two temporary homes — were released.
Here’s the schedule for Weeks 1-3 for the Jayhawks:
Week 1: Thursday, Aug. 29 vs. Lindenwood at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN+
Week 2: Saturday, Sept. 7 at Illinois at 6 p.m. CT on FS1
Week 3: Friday, Sept. 13 vs. UNLV at 6 p.m. on ESPN
KU’s matchups with Lindenwood and UNLV will be played in Kansas City, Kan., at Children’s Mercy Park, the home of Sporting KC.
The remainder of KU’s home football games for the 2024 season will be played at Arrowhead Stadium. Kickoff times for those games won’t be announced until later this year.
