Join the Girls Summer Soccer Camp at EAC – The Gila Herald

THATCHER — Attention all girls interested in soccer! EAC is excited to announce the Summer Soccer Camp. This camp is a fantastic opportunity for girls in 5th through 12th grade to develop their soccer skills, make new friends, and have a great time. (Boys camps will be announced next week.)
Dates: June 10 and 11
Location: John Mickelson Stadium
Cost: $50 per participant

5th – 8th Grade: 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
9th – 12th Grade: 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
• Develop a love for the game.

• Improve trapping, passing, dribbling, and shooting skills.
• Strengthen team skills.
Coach Charles Long brings a wealth of experience and passion for the game. Raised in Brazil, he started playing soccer in the streets as a missionary child. This early love for soccer has led to a lifelong career of playing and coaching at all levels, including internationally.
With more than 25 years of experience, Coach Long has worked with players from youth through the professional level. His coaching focuses on developing basic soccer skills and helping young players progress to the next level.
