Iraqi national team maintained its (56) position in the monthly ranking list issued by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) for the current month of November.
A statement by the Football Association received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that “the national team maintained in sixth place on the continental level with a total of 1442.86 points.”
It added that “our national team came after the teams of Japan, Iran, South Korea, Australia and Qatar in the classification list on the Asian continent level.”
Our national team had tied on the (14)th of this month with the Jordanian national team without goals, before defeating its host Oman on the (19th) of it with one goal without a response in the sixth and seventh rounds of its journey in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
