Indiana football vs Washington score today: Hoosiers lead Huskies 17-14 in third quarter – IndyStar

The Indiana football team is 8-0 after a 31-17 win over Washington at Memorial Stadium.
Tayven Jackson got the start at quarterback and completed 11 of 19 passes for 124 yards with a touchdown and interception. Justice Ellison went off in the second half and ended the game with 29 carries for 123 yards and a score.

The Hoosiers keep winning. This time IU beat Washington, 31-17. They are 8-0 for the first time since 1967.
The Huskies still have an outside chance in this one after Grady Gross hit a 23-yard field goal.

Indiana has more than doubled Washington’s score today. Tayven Jackson ran in a 2-yard score for the Hoosiers.

The Hoosiers responded with a 5-yard touchdown run from Justice Ellison.

The Huskies are within 3 points after an interception that led to a touchdown. Tayven Jackson threw pass that was deflected and dropped in the arms of lineman Jacob Bandes. Desmond Williams Jr. went on to score on an 8-yard run.

IU tried to punch it into the end zone at the end of the half but Washington’s defense stood tall. The Hoosiers had 1st and goal from the 1-yard line but the Huskies held IU to no gain on three straight plays. Indiana settled for a 19-yard field goal from Nicolas Radicic.
Tayven Jackson is 9 for 14 with 100 yards passing.

Here comes Washington. The Huskies got on the board with a 6-yard touchdown run from Giles Jackson. Jonah Coleman ripped off a 46-yard run on that drive.

D’Angelo Ponds did it again! Ponds picked off Will Rogers in impressive fashion.
IU’s Tayven Jackson then threw a 42-yard touchdown pass to Omar Cooper Jr.

On 4th and 1 at the Indiana 30-yard line, Washington’s Jonah Coleman was stopped for no gain.
Offensively, IU hasn’t moved the ball that much as of yet. Tayven Jackson is 2 for 4 with 20 yards passing. Ty Son Lawton has rushed twice for 10 yards.

D’Angelo Ponds picked off Will Rogers and ran it back 65 yards for the score.
