The first batch of Team India’s squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 has already made its way to the United States for the ICC event which starts on June 2. The Indian players were seen entering the airport in Mumbai on Saturday before taking their flight to the USA. Some of the players who were seen at the airport included India captain Rohit Sharma, pacer Jasprit Bumrah, batter Suryakumar Yadav, keeper-batter Rishabh Pant and all-rounder Shivan Dube.
Head coach Rahul Dravid and batting coach Vikram Rathour were also seen travelling with the Indian players.
Other players who travelled on Saturday included Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh, Khaleel Ahmed, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel among others.

Some of the players like Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal who played in the IPL 2024 playoffs will leave in separate batches later.
Interestingly, the IPL 2024 final between KKR and SRH will not include a single player from the 15-member main squad . Only Rinku Singh, who is part of the reserves, will be playing in the final.
India’s first match of the T20 World Cup is against Ireland on 5 June and it will be played in New York.
