ISLAMABAD: The concerned ministry in India has issued NOC to the India cricket team for blind to compete in the 4th T20 Blind World Cup starting in Lahore and Multan from November 22.
The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in India has issued NOC to the team members. “This ministry has no objection from sports angle for participation of the Indian Men’s Cricket Team in the 4th T20 World Cup for the Blind in Pakistan from 22nd November to 3rd December 2024 at no cost to the government, subject to the clearances from Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of External Affairs.” The concerned ministry added that that the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) & Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) may be approached by the Cricket Association for the Blind in India for obtaining their clearances by giving them complete details of participating teams/officials, dates, venues, of the World Cup being organised in Pakistan.
