The SCHSL high school football playoffs wrap up this weekend, Thursday through Saturday at South Carolina State’s Oliver C. Dawson Stadium in Orangeburg. There will be six state champions crowned, an additional one this year with the split of Class AAAAA into two divisions.
Here’s the schedule, how to watch and other important information to know.
Class AA – Clinton (11-2) vs. Barnwell (13-1), 2 p.m.
Class A – Abbeville (12-1) vs. Cross (11-2), 7:30 p.m.
Class AAAAA Division 1 – Dutch Fork (12-0) vs. Summerville (13-0), 2 p.m.
Class AAAA – Westside (13-0) vs. South Florence (11-3), 7:30 p.m.
Class AAA – Belton-Honea Path (13-1) vs. Oceanside Collegiate (10-3), noon
Class AAAAA Division 2 – Northwestern (13-0) vs. Irmo (12-1), 6 p.m.
Tickets will not be sold on site. They must be purchased at www.gofan.com for $15 per game. The stadium will be cleared between games. Gates will open no earlier than one hour before each game.
Lower State champions are the home teams and their fans should enter through Gate 1. Fans of Upper State teams should enter at Gate 2.
Parking is $10 per vehicle and should also be purchased through GoFan. Parking lots open an hour and a half before each game and tailgating is permitted.
All six games will be shown on Sinclair Broadcasting stations across South Carolina. Affiliates are WMYA My40 in Greenville; WACH Fox digital channel 57.2 in Columbia; WCIV MyTV in Charleston; and WWMB CW21 in Florence and Myrtle Beach
Games will also be streamed by the National Federation High School Network, www.nfhsnetwork.com. There is a subscription of $11.99 required, but it is good for all games on a monthly subscription and can be canceled at any time.
