Japan and England will face off on Sunday night in the final quarterfinal of the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, with the winner meeting the winner of the other Sunday quarterfinal between Spain and Ecuador on Halloween.
The game will air on FOX Soccer Plus at 7:00 p.m. ET,
Japan got to this point by going undefeated in its group, drawing 0-0 with Poland before then defeating Brazil 2-1 and Zambia 4-1 to set up this huge matchup against England.
England, on the other hand, fell 4-0 to North Korea in the final game of the group stage but had already beaten Kenya 2-0 and Mexico 4-2 to get to the quarterfinal stage of the tournament.
