On Thursday morning, we will be one step closer to the biggest event in the history of club soccer.
The official draw for FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will take place at 10:00 a.m. PT in Miami, Fla. You can watch the live stream of the event below as Sounders FC’s opponents for this unprecedented tournament as they are unveiled.
Set to take place in the United States from June 15 to July 13, 2025, the tournament consists of 32 of the most iconic clubs in the global game. As a host city, all three of Sounders FC’s group stage matches will be played at Lumen Field, while additional matches will be played in Seattle.
All 32 teams have been placed into four seeded pots, with the Sounders drawn into Pot 4. The rest of Seatle’s group will include one team each from the other three pots. Stipulations of the draw include that no group can have more than one team from the same continential confederation, with the exception of UEFA, which as 12 teams competing in the tournament. Therefore, four out of the eight groups will have two teams from Europe.
