A huge couple of years beckon for North American 'soccer'.
In 2026, the USA, Canada and Mexico will play host to the sport's grandest event: the World Cup. Before that, though, the US will stage what could be described as a trial run event.
Fittingly, FIFA opted to select the States as their destination to host the first bigger and better iteration of the Club World Cup. No longer will this event be hidden towards the end of the calendar year, but held over a month-long period in the summer.
32 clubs will convene in the US between the 2024/25 and 2025/26 campaigns for a chance to boast 'world champion' status. The novelty of such an occasion will doubtlessly facilitate plenty of excitement, and there's bound to be a buzz on the ticketing front.
11 cities and 12 stadia across the country will host next summer's tournament, and here are all the details on how you can get ahold of 2025 FIFA Club World Cup tickets.
Fans cannot yet buy tickets for the tournament, but they can register their interest in tickets via FIFA's website.
Registration means you will receive the latest information in regards to applying for tickets directly through FIFA.
With tickets not yet out for the 2025 Club World Cup, prices are currently unknown. However, they will differ depending on the fixture and the stadium the game is being played at.
The annual Intercontinental Cup offers a point of comparison. Just two Qatari stadiums are being used for the smaller tournament, with the most expensive tickets being priced at 1000 Qatari Royal (£216) and cheapest being a mere 40 Qatari Royal (£9).
However, with the tournament expanding, the format changes and more venues being used in 2025, those prices might not be a reliable measuring stick.
If you're unable to get your hands on tickets to catch any of next summer's action live in the flesh, don't fear.
FIFA have announced DAZN as their exclusive global broadcaster for the 2025 Club World Cup. The streaming service will show all 63 matches for free on all its platforms, and are expected to sublicense rights to local free-to-air broadcasters for selected fixtures.
