The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is officially underway, and India has had a stellar showing so far. While the much-anticipated India vs. Pakistan game has passed, you still have a couple of chances to see the Indian national cricket team now that they’ve advanced to the Super 8 portion of the tournament. Below, we’ll show you everything to know about how to buy India T20 World Cup cricket tickets.
India, who won the first ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2007, beat Pakistan by 6 runs at the sold-out T20 match-up on June 9. They were the first team in Group A to advance to the Super 8 after defeating the USA earlier this month, and they have yet to lose during the tournament. In the Super 8, they’ll compete against Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Australia in three highly-anticipated games. They beat Bangladesh during a warm-up match on June 1, but they haven’t competed against Afghanistan or Australia yet this month.
If you’re looking to score tickets, you’ve come to the right place. Below, we’ll break down everything you need to know about how to buy India T20 World Cup cricket tickets, including original and resale price comparisons. You can also browse resale ticket availability on websites like StubHub and Vivid Seats on your own time. And if you won’t be able to make it there in person, you can check out our guide on where to watch the T20 World Cup from home.
Original standard tickets for India T20 World Cup games are sold through the official T20 website. There are still some tickets left for both the USA and Canada games, but demand is high and ticket availability is dwindling. The India vs. Canada match-up is particularly in demand. You can also find ticket listings on resale websites like StubHub and Vivid Seats, where there tends to be more variety in seating and pricing.
Remaining original standard tickets for the three Super 8 games start anywhere between $45 to $85, depending on the game. According to the T20 website, there is limited remaining availability for the Australia vs. India game.
At the time of writing, the cheapest available Vivid Seats listings range from $29 for India vs. Bangladesh to $100 for India vs. Australia. The cheapest StubHub listings are priced even lower, from $6 to $14 for those same dates. All tickets, both original and resale, are significantly cheaper for India’s Super 8 games, which all take place outside of the United States.
Note: Certain services and regions prohibit the resale of tickets. Business Insider does not endorse or condone the illegal reselling of tickets, and entry into an event is at the venue’s discretion.
