Lionel Messi and his wife Antonela Roccuzzo celebrated another major trophy with their three sons and close friend Luis Suarez’s family after Inter Miami’s triumphant 2024 season.
The team secured the MLS Supporters’ Shield and now look ahead to the upcoming play-offs, with hopes of clinching their first-ever MLS Cup.

Inter Miami’s 2024 campaign has been one for the record books. The team, led by Messi, finished the season as the top seed in the league, securing the Supporters’ Shield with a league-high 74 points.
Messi, who scored 22 goals, and Suarez, who also netted over 20 goals, played key roles in Miami’s success.
During the celebrations, Messi’s sons Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro joined their dad on the pitch, while Suarez celebrated with his partner Sofia Balbi and their three children.

With the team now setting their sights on the MLS Cup, their play-off journey begins on October 25, facing either Montreal or Atlanta United.
Adding to their achievements, Inter Miami also qualified for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, where they’ll represent the host nation. The Major League Soccer team secured their place as the penultimate club to qualify for the 32-team tournament.
Inter Miami earned their spot as the host nation’s representative after an impressive and consistent 34-match season, clinching the Supporters’ Shield with two MLS games remaining.
As the host team, they will also have the honor of kicking off the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 by playing in the tournament’s opening match on their home turf.
With a historic season behind them, Messi and Suarez are focused on bringing even more glory to Miami in the play-offs.
