Syracuse, N.Y. — The Syracuse football team inched closer to the Top 25 national polls following its win over NC State but will likely need to topple unbeaten Pittsburgh in two weeks in order to crack either one.
The Orange (5-1, 2-1) remained among the teams receiving votes for the second consecutive week on Sunday when the two national polls were released. Syracuse’s last time appearing in the Top 25 rankings was during Week 10 of the 2022 season.
