There are only a few Ohio State Buckeyes home games left.
The No. 2 Buckeyes are set to take on No. 5 Indiana University at noon on Nov. 23 at Ohio Stadium. Then, they’ll take on their sworn rivals, the University of Michigan Wolverines, at noon on Nov. 30, also at Ohio Stadium.
Here’s a look at what Ohio State fans need to know before parking near Ohio Stadium for a football game.
Day-of-game parking can be found for Ohio State football game days in the Buckeye Lots and on West Campus and High Street. Take a look at OSU’s gameday parking map for more information.
Fans parking on West Campus can use a complimentary shuttle from Carmack Lot 1 to Coffey Road. The shuttle operates continuously starting six hours before kickoff until one hour after the game.
All day-of-game lots are first-come, first-serve.
Season permit holders can park in Ohio Stadium’s East and West lots, along with a number of other nearby lots. The permit lots are accessible from taking High Street to Woodruff Avenue on game day. The OSU season permit parking map is available here.
Spaces in the season permit lots will be held until 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
Day-of-game parking will be available in all lots and garages starting at 5 a.m. for $25 and $30. Proximity lots closer to the stadium will cost $30, while further lots will cost $25.
All parking lots are cashless. Credit, debit and smartphone payments are accepted.
Cannon Drive will be open for Ohio State football games, but only to fans with west stadium parking passes.
Fans with west stadium parking passes can access the lot via Cannon Drive or Woody Hayes Drive. Only members of the school’s Buckeye Club — a group of athletic donors — are eligible to purchase parking passes for the west stadium lot, according to the OSU Athletics website.
Cannon Drive will continue to be fully accessible for security and service vehicles working at the stadium, according to an OSU press release.
Ohio State has two home games left. The Buckeyes play Indiana on Nov. 23 and Michigan Nov. 30.
Ohio State also has the potential to host home games as a part of the expanded 12-team College Football Playoff. If OSU ends up as a five, six, seven or eight seed, it will host a playoff game either Dec. 20 or Dec. 21.
If they win the conference, though, the Buckeyes will have a bye the first week of the playoffs and then play in either the Fiesta, Peach, Rose or Sugar Bowl in the quarterfinals. A team has to win its conference to earn one of the top four seeds.
Where is ‘College GameDay’ this week?Location, schedule, guest picker for Week 13 on ESPN
“College GameDay” will be at Ohio State in Week 13 for Ohio State vs. Indiana. The “GameDay” set will be located outside St. John Arena on Ohio State’s campus per ESPN.
An Ohio State spokesman said the show’s present won’t have any impact on fan parking and transit. “Big Noon Kickoff” and “BIG Tailgate” will also be on campus, but the university have previously hosted all three shows at once.
