There’s only one slight change to the HighSchoolOT statewide 25 girls soccer rankings as Charlotte Latin slides from fourth to 17th. Most school systems were out last week, and there aren’t nearly as many spring break competitions in girls soccer as there are in softball and baseball.
So after six new teams last week, there are none this week.
There are only two new teams in the entire area code top 15 rankings — The O’Neal School joins the 910 top 15, while Polk County joins in the 828.
Rankings reminders:
- Rankings are updated weekly and released on every Monday
- All high schools in the state of North Carolina, excluding athletic training academies, are eligible for the statewide top 25
- There is a separate top 15 for the state’s six area codes that is also updated weekly
- Rankings are paused during the N.C. High School Athletic Association playoffs
- Final rankings are released the week after the state championships
