Girls soccer: No. 1 Royals dominate Mudsock rematch, Rocks shoot past Zionsville to semifinals – Hamilton County Reporter

The Hamilton Southeastern girls soccer team dominated its Mudsock rematch Wednesday in the first round of Class 3A Sectional 8 at Noblesville’s Hallmark Orthodontics Soccer Complex.
The No. 1-ranked Royals beat No. 18 Fishers 5-0. Five different players scored one goal for Southeastern: Cole Lance, Addison McClain, Sloane May, Kaylan Hoener and Margaux Henning. The Royals got assists from Lance, Sydney May, Sloane May and Henning.
The Royals improved to 14-0-3 with the win, while the Tigers finished their season 9-6-2. Southeastern plays Pendleton Heights in the second semifinal tonight, following the first semifinal between No. 2 Noblesville and No. 16 Mount Vernon. Action begins at 5:30 p.m.

Westfield, ranked No. 4 in 3A, advanced to the semifinals of Sectional 9 at Zionsville with a 2-1 win over the host and No. 9-ranked Eagles on Wednesday.
Ava Smith scored both goals for the Shamrocks, who improved to 11-4-2 with the victory.
Westfield takes on No. 10 Cathedral in the second semifinal tonight, following the first semifinal between No. 3 Carmel and Lawrence Central. Semifinal play starts at 5:30 p.m.
