Girls Soccer: Clippers Shut Out United Again – Door County Pulse

Sturgeon Bay’s girls soccer team swept the regular-season series against Sevastopol/Gibraltar on Thursday when the Clippers shut out the United, 2-0, in Packerland Conference action at Pioneer Stadium.
The score was identical to last month’s match Sturgeon Bay won at Clark Field. The Clippers got on the scoreboard late in the first half Thursday on a goal from Alexis Olson assisted by Paula Wienke.
Sturgeon Bay added a second-half goal from Malaya Martinez assisted by Olson.
The Clippers’ goalkeeper, Isabella Jimenez Seyfer, made two saves to record the shutout in net.
Sturgeon Bay improved its overall season record to 6-6-4 going into Saturday’s tournament at Kiel.
