The Ghana national football team squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 African Qualifiers in June is out. Head coach Otto Addo has chosen his 26-man team including fresh faces Brandon Thomas-Asante and Ibrahim Sulemana.
Ghana so far have a win and a defeat after having played two games of the World Cup qualifiers back in November 2023. The opening one was against Madagascar, a 1-0 win and the second against Comoros saw a 1-0 defeat.
The Black Stars now find themselves in the fourth spot in Group I. Apart from the aforementioned two opponents, Mali, Chad and the Central African Republic complete the group. In June, Otto Addo’s men will be first taking on the Mali national football team. Then after four days, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, they will be hosting the Central African Republic.
