German Bundesliga team could partner with Milwaukee Pro Soccer for local club, according to reports – Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

Milwaukee effort to bring professional outdoor soccer might get some help from the from a club in Germany, according to a report from Bloomberg.
Eintracht Frankfurt, which plays in the top level German league, the Bundesliga, is mulling a potential partnership with Milwaukee Pro Soccer, the group trying to bring an outdoor professional team to the city, the report states.
The report states there are a range of options for partnership including talent development.
Ross Boettcher, communications director for Kacmarcik Enterprise, the main driver of Milwaukee Pro Soccer, said the organization is not commenting “on rumors and speculation.”
Milwaukee Pro Soccer is hoping to start a USL Championship level club, the second tier in U.S. soccer, in 2026. The ownership group is the same group that launched Forward Madison FC in 2019 in the USL League One and the upcoming women’s USL Super League planned to be in Madison in 2025.
In 2021, Forward Madison announced a partnership with Eintracht Frankfurt, which has continued for the last four years.
“The history and success of Eintracht Frankfurt is tough to match,” Forward Madison COO & Owner Conor Caloia said at the time the partnership formed. “As we explored international partnerships, the vision and values of Eintracht Frankfurt match those of Forward Madison. We look forward to having a positive impact on the game of soccer in Wisconsin and beyond.”
In March, Eintracht Frankfurt hosted a soccer camp with Forward Madison in Madison.

Milwaukee Pro Soccer announced in 2022 the prospect of professional outdoor soccer team and venue.
Marquette University sold an 11-acre property to Bear Development which, together with Kacmarcik Enterprises, plans to develop the area centered around a 8,000-seat stadium.
But construction has yet to start and the potential inaugural season was delayed to 2026 to coincide with the men’s World Cup coming to the United States and North America that year.
