Four Ugandan referees to officiate Djibouti, Ethiopia duel in Morocco | FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers – Kawowo Sports

Four Ugandan referees were appointed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to officiate the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers (preliminary round) group A duel between two horn of Africa countries Djibouti Vs Ethiopia.
This contest will take place at the El Jadida Stadium (Stade El Abdi) in Morocco on Sunday, 9th June 2024.
The center referee is Ali Sabilla Chelengat. Chelengat has exhibited a couple of great performances over the years with the last qualifiers he handled coming in October 2023 between Equatorial Guinea and Namibia.
He will work with Ronald Katenya (assistant referee 1), Hakim Mulindwa (assistant referee 2) and William Oloya (fourth official).
The match referee assessor is Shantal Shuaibu Amiru from Nigeria whilst the match commissioner is Mohamed Khalid Abdallah from Tanzania.
