TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – It’s Football Friday Night, and we have reached that time… time to decide on our Play of the Year.
For the last few months, you have cast a vote each week for your favorite play. Now, each of those winners is competing for the ultimate title: The WCTV Play of the Year.
We started off with 11 plays. And each week, we eliminated three more, until one, our Play of the Year, remains.
On Monday, November 25, we recapped the top eight plays in our 11 p.m. broadcast. You can begin voting for your favorite at 11:45 p.m. Voting will close on Friday, November 29 at 7 p.m., and during our 11 p.m. broadcast, we’ll announce the three plays that had the lowest total votes. Those three will be eliminated, bringing us to the final two contenders for Play of the Year!
We will unveil our 2024 Play of the Year on Thursday, December 12.
