Friday marks the final day of the high school football season in Massachusetts.
Just six teams are left standing with the hopes bringing the three remaining MIAA Super Bowls (Div. 3, Div. 5 and Div. 8).
Div. 8 kicks off the day at Gillette Stadium as Randolph and West Boylston will go head-to-head at 3 p.m. At 5:30, Shawsheen Valley Tech takes on Foxboro in Div. 5 and at 8 p.m., Mansfield meets North Attleboro in an all-Hockomock League final.

No. 1 Shawsheen Valley Tech and No. 3 Foxboro will kick off at 5:30 p.m.
West Boylston defeated Randolph, 22-16, in the Div. 8 final. The Div. 5 final should start right on time at 5:30 p.m.
Shawsheen Valley Tech is led by Al Costabile, who is looking to win his second Super Bowl as head coach. Costabile was at the helm for the Rams’ 2010 victory against Blue Hills in the Eastern Massachusetts Division 4 matchup.
The captains are Brayton Carbone, Sidney Tildsley and Zack Timmons.
Both coach Al Costabile and Martinelli are members of the Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Foxboro head coach Jack Martinelli already has a handful of championship rings – literally, he has five.
The Foxboro captains are Nolan Gordon, Mike Marcucella, Kaden Hassett, Ben Angelini and Jonathan Balde.
Foxboro is trying to defend its title. This season, the Warriors are No. 4 seed with a current record of 8-4. They beat No. 14 Danvers, No. 11 Dedham and No. 2 Hanover (a rematch of last year’s state title game) to advance to the final.
Before last year’s title game victory, Foxboro’s last appearance in the Super Bowl was 2006.
Shawsheen Valley Tech is entering into the Super Bowl as the top seed, currently holding an undefeated record of 12-0. The Rams defeated No. 16 Gloucester, No. 8 Newburyport and No. 4 Old Rochester to advance to the state final. This is not the first time some of these athletes are playing in a state championship. Just two years ago, the Rams lost in the 2022 Super Bowl against North Reading.
The program had two other Super Bowl appearances, a victory in 2010 and a loss in 1978.
