GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – Palisade Girls Soccer keeps on dismantling their opposition, and A Current Maverick Softball Star, and former Central Warrior makes history.
On this week’s edition of The Final Whistle Garrett Brown and Parker Way break down that, CMU Baseball plus get into Colorado Pro Teams, March Madness and more.
Colorado Mesa’s Junior Infielder Myah Arrieta made history during the Mavericks doubleheader against Chadron State. Arrieta tied, then broke the CMU single season record for home runs and broke an NCAA record for most games in a row with a home run, more on that can be found here.
On the soccer pitch, the Palisade Bulldogs remain one of the most high-powered teams on the Western Slope on both sides of the ball. The Bulldogs remain unbeaten after taking down the Glenwood Springs Demons 7-0. Senior Forward Mia De Villegas-Decker had another stellar performance, scoring the first four goals of the game before a couple more Bulldogs connected on shots. The Bulldogs move to 6-0-1 on the season, with four shutout victories.
