eFootball™ will feature as the competition title in the upcoming “FIFAe World Cup 2024™” – Take on the world with eFootball™!
Windsor, UKKonami Digital Entertainment B.V. can today announce that their flagship football simulation title eFootball™ will be used in a new esports competition – “FIFAe World Cup 2024™” –   
with in-game qualifiers kicking off today!
About FIFAe World cup 2024™ 
FIFAe World Cup 2024™ is an official e-sports tournament by FIFA® with eFootball™ as the competition title held across two categories: Console (PS4 and PS5) and Mobile. 
Players who have won both their in-game qualifiers and National Nomination Phases will gather at the “FIFAe World Cup 2024™” – to be held offline in this year – and compete for the title of World Champion. 
This year, 18 countries from around the world will be able to participate in the final tournament, the “FIFAe World Cup 2024™”. 
Meanwhile, players who have nationalities other than those of the 18 countries can also participate until Round 3 of the in-game qualifiers in order to still receive the relevant in-game rewards.
Competition schedule
The competition in its entirety will be broken down into three main segments. 
10th – 20th October will see the three-part in-game qualifiers take place. 
28th October – 3rd November will follow for the various National Nomination Phases in the 18 competing countries. 
Lastly, there will be the Final round of ‘FIFAe World Cup 2024™’, held offline towards the end of 2024.
18 Nations set to compete
The ‘FIFAe World Cup 2024™’ will bring together eighteen countries from across five different continents. 
Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, India, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia make up the Asian contingency. 
Europe adds a further seven with France, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Netherlands, Poland, and England included. 
Then, in addition, Morocco will fly the flag for Africa, Costa Rica for North America, and both Brazil and Argentina will be present from South America.
FIFAe World Cup 2024™ in-game qualifier details
Players from 18 countries will be gathered at the stage of ‘FIFAe World Cup 2024™’ who have won through the in-game qualifier and National Nomination Phases. 
When users proceed with the in-game qualifiers, they can receive in-game rewards up to 50 eFootball™ coins, 5,000 eFootball™ points, 30,000 Exp, 3 skill training programs.
