FIFA World Cup 2026 ticket info, date and where it's happening – NorthJersey.com

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup final coming to MetLife Stadium, global attention is on the Garden State, and East Rutherford in particular.
Work is well underway to get the stadium in tiptop shape for one of the biggest sporting events on the planet, but fans are just starting to pay attention to the process.
FIFA, the international soccer organization that oversees the tournament, announced MetLife’s selection on Sunday. Here are some fast facts to make sure you are up to speed on the whens and wheres of the tournament.
The next FIFA World Cup tournament is being held in the summer of 2026. The first game will be in Mexico City on June 11 and the final will be in East Rutherford on July 19.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 is being held throughout North America, with games being held in 16 cities in the United States, Mexico and Canada. The final will be held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The host cities are East Rutherford, Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle in the United States; Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey in Mexico; and Toronto and Vancouver in Canada.

The tournament final will be held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on July 19, 2026.
While the hosting duties are a partnership with New York City, MetLife Stadium is in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Specifics on when fans can get tickets aren’t available yet, but those interested can register on the FIFA website to stay in the loop.
