FIFA FIFPRO Men's World 11: Jude Bellingham And Lionel Messi Joined By Six Man City Players – Sports Illustrated

Six Manchester City players have been named in the 2023 FIFA FIFPRO Men’s World 11.
The team was revealed during The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony in London on Monday.
Kyle Walker, John Stones and Ruben Dias were voted in as the only three defenders.
Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva were selected as two of the three midfield players, while Erling Haaland was one of four forwards.

However, City keeper Ederson was beaten to a place in the XI by Real Madrid stopper Thibaut Courtois.
Two more Madrid stars also made the cut in Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior
The other spots went to Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi and Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe.
The FIFPRO World 11 was selected based on votes cast by over 28,000 professional footballers.

The Men’s World 11 was revealed shortly after City boss Pep Guardiola had been named as The Best FIFA Men’s Coach for 2023.
Guardiola remained on stage as Walker and Dias came up to receive their World 11 trophies.
