FIFA Dallas Calls on Local Artists for ‘Host City Poster’ Contest – dallasinnovates.com

With nine FIFA World Cup 26 matches coming to Dallas-Fort Worth, the organization is calling on local artists to create a signature Host City poster celebrating the city’s spirit and love for the game. Each World Cup Host City will produce its own poster, capturing the essence of football with a local twist.
Three finalists, each awarded $2,500, will be selected from submissions, who will then be presented to FIFA for review. The winning design will earn the title of the official Dallas Host City Poster and a $5,000 prize.
Submissions are open to Texas residents aged 18 and up, with multiple entries permitted. The deadline for entries is Monday, November 11, 2024. Interested artists can register online to receive additional guidelines, including a toolkit, playbook, and timeline.

That especially includes library officials and consultants they brought in for a report on the building’s future, among other needed investments in the city’s library system.
No Final? No problem. JerryWorld in Arlington will still be the site of more 2026 FIFA World Cup matches than any of the other 15 host venues. That includes one of the biggest prizes—hosting one of the two globally watched semi-final matches. Jerry Jones called the announcement a “triumph” and “a fabulous success.”
