Group A
Azerbaijan win 7-2 against Georgia.

Azerbaijan secured a convincing victory over Georgia in their second Group A match. The first period saw both teams trade goals, with Sabir and Shamiladze finding the net, ending the period 1-1.

Azerbaijan gained momentum in the second period, courtesy of Elshad’s strike, taking a 2-1 lead. This momentum carried into the third period, where Azerbaijan unleashed a five-goal onslaught from Elshad, Ramil, Amid, Kamran, and Bayram to score a 7-2 win. Georgia struggled to contain Azerbaijan’s attacking flair, managing only one more goal from Shamiladze.
The match recored three yellow cards, one for Georgia and the rest to Azerbaijan.
Spain win 9-3 against England.
In their second Group A match, Spain dominated England in an onslaught began right from the first period. Ramy, Jose Arias, Suli Batis, and Juanmi scoring to establish a 4-0 lead for the Spanish team.

Spain continued their relentless pressure in the second period, adding three more goals through J. Oliver, Joselito and Suli Batis’s brace goal. This extended their advantage to 7-0, leaving England reeling.
England finally found their footing in the third period, scoring three consolation goals through Frier, Grossett, and Day. However, Spain responded with two more goals from Domingo and Pedro, sealing their 9-3 victory.
Group B
Italy win 6-3 against Denmark.
Italy secured a hard-fought victory over Denmark in their first Group B clash, in a match that started strong, scoring two goals in the first period through Casapieri and Bertacca.

The Italian side maintained their momentum in the second period, adding two more goals courtesy of Giordani’s brace. This 4-0 lead seemed insurmountable, but Denmark refused to give up, as they staged a spirited comeback in the third period, scoring three goals through Madsen, Frandsen, and Lucht.
However, Italy got two crucial goals, including an own goal by Denmark and a last-minute strike by Sciacca, sealing their 6-3 win. Notably, the match was with no carded event recorded throughout.
Group E
Switzerland win 10-0 against Malta.
Switzerland cruised to a resounding victory over Malta in their opening Group E clash. The Swiss dominated from the outset, with Steinemann and Borer scoring in the first period to establish a 2-0 lead.

Switzerland’s dominance continued in the second period with goals from Gmür, Borer, and Stankovic’s brace. Extending their advantage to 6-0. Malta struggled to find their footing, but unable to muster a single goal.
In the third period, Switzerland sealed their convincing win with four more goals from Stankovic, Borer, and Knöpfli and Hodel. Malta’s contribution to the match sheet were two caution events, highlighting Switzerland’s discipline and dominance.
France win 2-1 against Lithuania.
France edged Lithuania in Group E clash. The French side struck first, with Gosselin scoring in the opening period to establish a 1-0 lead.

France doubled their advantage in the second period, courtesy of Basquaise’s goal, as Lithuania struggled to find their footing, unable to find the net before end of the second period.
Lithuania finally broke through in the third period, with Kliukoit scoring a consolation goal, but it was too little. France’s controlled performance secured them the slim 2-1 victory. The Lithuanian side accumulated all three yellow cards of the match.
Group F
Ukraine win 8-2 against Norway.
In their opening Group F game, Ukraine defeated Norway, in a match that saw sevan goals in the first period alone. Ukraine’s Pashko, Sirenko, Levchenko, Glutskyi, and Zborovskyi all found the net. While Norway managed only one response, courtesy of Gaare.

The second period saw Ukraine continue their dominance, with another goal from Zborovskyi, Keeping them in a clear 7-2 lead. As Norway’s Lie managed to add a goal.
In the third period, Norway’s inability to contain Ukraine’s attacking flair proved costly, as Ukraine added one more goal through Nerush, and cruised to an emphatic 8-2 victory.
