FIFA unveiled the grand prize trophy for the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup™ tournament in 2025. It will be held at 12 venues across 11 U.S. cities from June 15 to July 13, 2025.
The soccer federation collaborated with famous luxury jeweler, Tiffany & Co., to craft and design the Club World Cup Trophy for a club football team to take home.
Anthony Ledru, president and chief executive officer of Tiffany & Co., said, “With a legacy dating back 160 years, Tiffany & Co. has crafted some of the most iconic championship trophies in history, setting the standard for craft and design.”
Both FIFA and Tiffany & Co. described the trophy as a symbol of the future inspired by the past.
The grand prize trophy is a circular disk made of 24-carat gold. The trophy can go from a shield to a multifaceted, orbital structure. Each layer/circle is covered in laser-engraved inscriptions that tell of football’s rich history, including a world map, symbols of different stadiums and soccer equipment, names of all 211 FIFA Member Associations and the six international confederations and has engravings in 14 languages, including Braille.
FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, called the golden trophy “prestigious and timeless” for representing the Club World Cup tournament in four words: Innovative, inclusive, groundbreaking and global.
FIFA also used the Voyager Golden Records from NASA to include two celestial symbols representing significant dates in the football association’s history. Those symbols are the planets’ approximate positions for FIFA’s foundation in Paris on May 21, 1904, and the Club World Cup opening match in Miami on June 15, 2025.
Champions of each edition will receive a replica of the Club World Cup trophy with engravings that marked their triumph after the final. The winning team’s trophy will be the same, but it’ll include nameplates, club emblems and dates relating to their victory.
“The team who lift this trophy will hold the world of club football in their hands,” Infantino said. “To the players who win it, history belongs to you!”
FIFA plans to present the trophy on December 5 in Miami as it hosts the tournament’s draw. It’s available to watch live at 13:00 local time (7:00 p.m. CET/8:00 p.m. EST) on FIFA.com, FIFA+ and supporting channels.
