We get a minor reprieve from byes in Week 7, as only Dallas and Chicago will be idle. Still, missing players such as CeeDee Lamb and D’Andre Swift, plus coping with the big wave of injuries, require us to recommend quality lineup streaming options and key waiver wire pickups for Week 7.
The fantasy football analysis for Week 7 is based on Point Per Reception (PPR) scoring formats. You will find a Seahawk highlighted as a good streamer for Week 7, and another as a good fantasy football waiver wire pickup.
START Chuba Hubbard: In each of the last four games, the Carolina RB has rushed for 90-plus yards, with two rushing TDs in two of the past three outings. Andy Dalton’s insertion into the starting lineup led to better offensive balance, and Hubbard should find the end zone in a higher-scoring matchup with Washington.
START Tank Bisgby: This season, the second-year Jaguars RB has flashed considerable upside, and he may be ticketed for a significant role in Week 7. Travis Etienne is dealing with a hamstring injury, and Bigbsy is averaging 7.2 yards per carry so far this season. The 22-year-old faces a Patriots defense that ranks 27th in rushing yards allowed to RBs.
There might be some split work between Bigby and another RB listed in the waiver wire section, but you can start him as an RB2/flex for the fantasy ceiling in a good matchup.
START J.K. Dobbins: The ex-Raven’s grip on the starting job for the Chargers is firm. He carried 25 times for 96 yards in Week 6. Arizona has allowed the second-most rushing yards to RBs, so expect at least adequate fantasy production from Dobbins in Week 6.
START Chase Brown: The Browns have allowed six rushing TDs to RBs. Only four teams allowed more in the first six weeks. Brown scored on a 30-yard run last week, and he is a good bet to find the end zone again. In the last three games, the Bengals RB registered four TDs from scrimmage.
START Diontae Johnson: This week, fantasy players should take advantage of Carolina’s draw against the Commanders’ defense. Both Hubbard and Johnson are recommended lineup options. Washington has allowed 10 TD receptions to WRs, tied for the most in the NFL.
START Jameson Williams: Minnesota’s defense has built a strong reputation so far this season, yet holes can be poked in the unit by good passing attacks. The Vikings allow the most Fantasy Points Per Game to WRs. Willaims is averaging an NFL-high 22.8 yards per reception.
START Tank Dell: In Week 6, the second-year man finished with seven receptions on nine targets and caught his first TD pass of the season. Green Bay’s pass defense is ranked 25th in the NFL. Dell will continue to play a key role in the Houston passing game while Nico Collins is out.
START Xavier Worthy: If you are looking for some upside, this downfield artist will provide it in a marquee matchup for the Chiefs against San Francisco. The 49ers rank 22nd in receiving yards allowed to WRs, and the Kansas City rookie can pay off as a fantasy starter by making the most of his big-play opportunities.
START Sam Darnold: He is rebooting his career in impressive fashion with the Vikings. You can realistically expect two-plus TD passes from Darnold against the Lions’ 27th-ranked pass defense.
START Geno Smith: The Week 7 matchup between the Seahawks and Falcons features the NFL’s No. 7 and No. 8 ranked offenses, respectively. The matchup may be a fun one for real-life and fantasy purposes. Smith ranks as fantasy QB7 so far this season and will provide a satisfactory statistical floor.
Fantasy Football Rankings: Week 7 Waiver Wire Quarterbacks
START Isaiah Likely: Take the shot on the Baltimore TE for some yardage promise in Week 7. Tampa Bay ranks 29th in receiving yards allowed to TEs.
START Dalton Schultz: If you must stream or look past the top 10 for a TE starter this week, consider Schultz for decent production. Green Bay is tied for the most receptions allowed to TEs.
Week 7 Defensive Streamers: Buffalo (vs. Tennessee), Cincinnati (vs. Cleveland), Los Angeles Rams (vs. Las Vegas).
