BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer team will open the Region 8 Tournament semifinal Friday afternoon at Daytona State College.
The Titans, who are 4-2 in the conference and the No. 2 seed in the NJCAA Division I poll, will open the day of soccer at Daytona State College against Miami Dade College at 3 p.m.
The teams split the first two meetings this season, and both teams won at home. Pheobe Wilson has scored in each of the two meetings against the Sharks. Julia Gurgel has two goals against the Titans, both coming in the home win.
The other semifinal will be between Polk State College and Host Daytona State College. The championship game will be Sunday at Daytona State College.
