East Sac County Girls Soccer played at the Denison tournament. It was a cold windy morning. In Game 1 the Raiders lost 2-1 in OT shootout vs Oakland-Riverside. The Raiders played solid defense and controlled the game out shooting Riverside 23-3. However, the Raiders just couldn’t find the net. The Raiders would eventually fall in the shootout at kick #8. Stats: Chloe Bieret 1 goal and 7 shots, Sarah Bontrager 8 shots, Kenna Meyer 7 shots, Cora Mahler 4 shots, Hannah Pudenz 3 shots, Davanee Boger 1 shot, and Melodee Rench 2 saves
In game 2 East Sac County lost to Panorama 9-0. Panorama started quick scoring 2 goals in the first 6 minutes and ended the first half strong scoring 3 goals in the last 6 minutes. The halftime score was 7-0. The Raiders played a tough the second half limiting the shots by Panorama. Panorama extended the lead with 10 minutes remaining and scored again in the final minute to win 9-0. Stats: Kenna Meyer 1 shot, and Melodee Rench 17 saves
