These matches will determine key points for their journey towards securing a spot in the prestigious tournament. The Dutch side will be looking to perform strongly in this important phase of the qualifiers.
In Oman, the Netherlands will take on the United Arab Emirates twice (on 3 and 9 November) and play twice against the host country (on 5 and 11 November). These matches are part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2. The top four nations of this competition will be allowed to participate in a global World Cup qualifying tournament with ten participants in 2027.

All matches can be followed free of charge via ICC TV (icc-cricket.com/videos).

In addition, the Netherlands will play three T20I matches against hosts Oman, which count for the T20I world ranking.

National men’s coach Ryan Cook: “Following the home series success in August it is important for us to keep the momentum going into the next WCL2 tour. Performances through the summer, both in the Netherlands and abroad have enabled us to pick a strong and well balanced squad which we are confident will be able to play well against the opposition in the conditions in Oman.”
