It’s hard to imagine the first six weeks of the Arkansas football‘s 2024 season going any better as the Razorbacks enter their bye week.
The Hogs are 4-2, equalling the total number of victories from 2023. They also have more SEC wins than they had last season, and Arkansas looks set to exceed all preseason expectations.
The highlight of the fall came last weekend. Arkansas stunned Tennessee 19-14 in front of a raucous Reynolds Razorback Stadium crowd for the program’s first home win over a top-five team since 1999.
Arkansas is 13th in the country in total offense, and the defense is starting to round into form under defensive coordinator Travis Williams. The Hogs have held all three of their SEC opponents well below their season average.
