Arizona football heads into its bye week with hopes its week off can get it back on track amid a five-game losing streak.
The Wildcats (3-6, 1-5 Big 12) have had a disappointing season in 2024 and are coming off a poor showing in a 56-12 loss to UCF on the road in Orlando, Florida.
Arizona, which finished 10-3 after a win over Oklahoma in the Alamo Bowl last season, returned Noah Fifita and Tetairoa McMillan — a strong quarterback-receiver duo — despite former coach Jedd Fisch leaving for the Washington job. Now, the Wildcats need to win their three remaining games to reach bowl eligibility.
The Wildcats have remaining games against vs. Houston, at TCU and vs. Arizona State, and will aim to win each and play for a bowl trophy at the end of the regular season.
