The Lions, one of the preseason Super Bowl darlings of the betting world, have enjoyed a strong 3-1 start to the 2024 NFL season.
Just like last season, Detroit has maintained a strong balance between Jared Goff and the passing game and the 1-2 running back punch of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery. Aidan Hutchinson also has the Lions pass-rush playing solid football.
It’s likely a blessing that the Lions have a Week 5 bye, as multiple contenders with star-studded injury reports wear themselves down even more.

One of the more banged-up NFC squads is the Cowboys, who are missing key defenders Micah Parsons, DeMarcus Lawrence, and DaRon Bland.
Dallas actually serves as the Lions’ next opponent, so Detroit will relish the opportunity to watch the ‘boys in action and prepare to face them in Week 6.
The Sporting News has more details on what comes next for Motown’s football squad.
The Lions’ next game is Sunday, Oct. 13 against the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with kickoff set for 4:25 p.m. ET. The game will be televised nationally on Fox.
Tickets for the game are still available on StubHub, with prices starting around $35 each for standing room and $113 each for seats. Click here to browse available seats and prices.
