De La Salle blanked Haynes Academy 2-0 on the pitch Friday.
Jack Woodrow scored a goal in the 16th minute off a long ball from Camden Fisackerly to make it 1-0 before Connor Butler scored from 25 yards out in the final minute to put the match away.
Noah Rogers was outstanding in goal for the Cavaliers.
De La Salle (3-5-2) next Friday at Christ Episcopal.
The Yellow Jackets (2-9) will play at Belle Chasse next Thursday.
