EUGENE — Oregon’s third straight national signing day under Dan Lanning featured multiple commitment flips en route to a second straight top five class of historic magnitude for the program.
The Ducks signed 20 players on Wednesday, flipping quarterback Jaron Keawe Sagapolutele and cornerback Na’eem Offord from Cal and Ohio State, respectively, and adding edge rusher Tobi Haastrup to a group that ends the day ranked No. 4 in the 247Sports Composite with the highest point evaluation (300.6) in UO history and highest average player rating (93.77) in the country.
Lanning said the class was about quality over quantity, which is evident from its 19 four- and five-star prospects.
