Colorado enters this matchup with a 4-2 record, and the team is coming off a close 31-28 loss against Kansas State. The Buffaloes held a four-point lead with less than three minutes remaining in regulation, but their defense conceded a 50-yard touchdown pass. With this in mind, the Colorado squad is looking to bounce back with a better performance today.
Colorado’s star quarterback Shedeur Sanders threw for 388 yards and three touchdowns against Kansas State. Additionally, Sanders completed 34-40 passes, so he will look to continue his success against Arizona.
The Buffaloes suffered numerous injuries last week, which impacted their offense and defense. Notably, Jimmy Horn Jr. and Travis Hunter were unable to play in the second half against Kansas State. However, both of these players should return to the lineup this afternoon.
Arizona enters this matchup with a 3-3 record, and the team has lost back-to-back games. In their most recent game, the Wildcats lost 41-19 against BYU. During the loss, Arizona’s offense had four turnovers. With this in mind, the Wildcats must protect the ball this afternoon.
