College football‘s Monday schedule has just one game, but it could be an interesting one between two old-time rivals.
No. 20 Missouri (9-3) will play Iowa (8-4) at 2:30 p.m. ET in the Music City Bowl at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. The Tigers and Hawkeyes played 11 times between 1892 and 1910 but have squared off just once since then, a 27-24 Iowa win in the 2010 Insight Bowl in Tempe, Arizona.
The two programs were scheduled to play in the 2020 Music Bowl, but the game was canceled due to COVID-19. Missouri leads the all-time series 7-6 between the programs.
The Tigers ended the season with back-to-back wins over Mississippi State and Arkansas. At the same time, the Hawkeyes also won back-to-back matchups over Maryland and Nebraska to end their regular season.
