In today’s only college football bowl game, the Memphis Tigers and the West Virginia Mountaineers meet for the first time in their history, as Toyota Stadium hosts the seventh edition of the Frisco Bowl.
The Tigers head into the clash on a three-game winning sequence, having rounded off their regular season with a 34-24 triumph over the Tulane Green Wave on November 28. That victory left the American Athletic Conference team with a 10-2 record in 2024, sealing back-to-back 10-win seasons for the first time in program history.
Meanwhile, the Big 12’s Mountaineers went 6-6 this term, and are preparing for the Frisco Bowl on the back of a heavy defeat: in their final regular-season game, West Virginia were beaten 52-15 by the Texas Tech Red Raiders on November 30.
The following day, head coach Neal Brown was fired after six seasons in charge, with offensive coordinator Chad Scott taking over on an interim basis.

Viewers in the US will be able to watch the matchup live on ESPN, and your streaming options include the online platform fubo, which offers a free trial.
