2025 promises to be yet another action packed year for Indian cricket. The senior men's and women's cricket teams will be featuring in the ICC Champions Trophy and the ICC Women's ODI World Cup respectively. There is also WPL and IPL to look forward to. Here is a glance to what awaits Indian cricket fans in 2025. The dates mentioned for the tournaments are subject to change.
Indian cricket fans can expect another action packed year in 2025. The men’s and the women’s cricket teams will be in action throughout the year. The senior men’s and women’s team will be in action in two ICC events. While the men’s cricket team will be in action in the ICC Champions Trophy in the early part of 2025, the later half of the year will see India host the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup. Beyond these two events, there is WPL, IPL and many other cricket tournaments to look forward to,
The new year will begin with a Test match at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground. India will be under pressure to win the Test and level the series. If India does win the match, it will give itself an outside chance to qualify for the World Test Championship final and also retain the Border Gavaskar Trophy.

The third edition of the Women’s Premier League will kick-start from sometime in late February and run till mid March.
The men’s cricket team will then travel to the UAE to participate in the eight-nation ICC Champions Trophy. The Champions Trophy will be played from February 19 to March 9.

In the latter weeks of June the men’s cricket team will be in England for a five-match Test series. At around the same time the women’s team will also be in England to play five T20Is and three ODIs.
