The Central African Republic have named their squad to face the Black Stars in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers on June 11, 2024.

The Black Stars will take on CAR at the Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium after playing their away game against Mali in Bamako in June.

Ahead of the match, CAR coach Savoy Raoul has named his 24 players to face Chad and Ghana in June’s double World Cup qualifiers.

CAR’s squad is dominated by players like Olympique Marseille’s Geoffrey Kondogbia, former Hearts of Oak player Nouadhibou’s Ouatching Yassan, FC Challans’ Godame Tieri, and Mafouta Louis who plays for Amiens.

Central Africa is currently 5th in Group I of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers after losing 4-2 to group leaders Comoros and securing an impressive 1-1 draw in Bamako against Mali.

Ghana beat CAR 2-1 the last time they met in the 2023 AFCON Qualifiers.
