This action not only reinforces support for the practice of the sport but also promotes inclusion and access to physical activity in various communities, this partnership reaffirms its mission to promote the development of beach soccer among young people in vulnerable communities in Brazil. Through this initiative, the aim is not only to foster athletic talent but also to provide educational tools and personal growth opportunities for participants. The Carioca Beach Project becomes a beacon of hope and social transformation, highlighting the importance of collaboration between sport and the community.
This project is located at the iconic Leblon Beach in the heart of Rio de Janeiro, is more than just a sports initiative; it is a true platform for inclusion and social transformation. Aimed at children aged 7 to 14, the project particularly embraces young residents of the Vidigal community and other children in vulnerable situations, creating a safe and inspiring space where they can develop their skills and dreams.
Currently, we have the participation of 60 children, both boys and girls, who come together to practice beach soccer— a sport that not only promotes health and physical conditioning but also teaches fundamental values such as teamwork, discipline, and respect.
In addition to encouraging sports participation, the Carioca Beach Soccer Project also aims to promote social inclusion and strengthen the community. Through our activities, participants form bonds of friendship and solidarity that transcend the sand courts. Our mission is to inspire these young people to dream big, showing them that regardless of their circumstances, it is possible to achieve their goals and transform their realities.
